Tomorrow Sev and I head to Montana (or Hanna Montana as his niece calls it) for a week of fishing, exploring, and spending time with Sev's family in one of my favorite places in the world. I can't wait to show you how beautiful it is there! Here are a few pictures from last year's trip.

Wednesday Wishlist: Back to School

Is it just me or is school starting earlier and earlier every year? It seems almost criminal that these poor kids have to go back so early in August. As a 12 year old, I would have protested. 

I am always drawn to classics like chambray, flannel, tall boots, knee-highs and wayfarers in the fall. It must be the Catholic School girl in me. (Yes, believe it or not I was a Catholic School Girl at one point. Well, a Catholic School drop-out to be exact. I ended my high school days on the public side.)

Baby Boom

I feel like everyone around me has babies, is expecting a baby, or trying to have a baby. Its like my own personal baby boom. I guess I'm just at that age. A few years ago, it was weddings every other weekend, now those same friends are moving on with the next stage in life. While I've never really considered myself a "baby person", I have to admit, since getting to know a few of them, they're starting to grow on me. But don't get any ideas though Mom. They haven't grown on me that much.

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph some good friends for their engagement. They are adorable (and ridiculously good-looking) which always makes for great photos. Congrats Erin and Nick and thanks for letting me capture your love story!

Garden of the Gods

 I can't believe I've lived in Colorado this long and not been to Garden of the Gods yet. The place truly lives up to its name and although I tried my best, these pictures simply cannot capture its beauty appropriately. You simply must see it to appreciate it. Sev and I only had a limited amount of time there, so I definitely plan on a return trip for a biking/hiking excursion.
